AUTO-DIAG SET UP (Automatic Diagnostics)

Click on Start -> All Programs or Programs - > Accessories -> System Tools -> Scheduled Tasks

Highlight the autodiag and delete it (if autodiag was setup previously)

Double click on "Add Scheduled Task"

Click on Next (It may take a few minutes)

bulletClick on Browse
bulletHit the down arrow at the "look in" box at the top and choose the network Drive - i.e. Netdrive on Server (X:)

bulletDouble click on the Advantage folder i.e. Eyemd or Eyecare
bulletLocate the executable and double click on it (i.e. Eyecare.exe or Eyemd.exe)
bulletEnter the name autodiag and click in the daily circle and click next
bulletSelect a time (must not conflict with nightly backup) and select the start date and clieck nexe
bulletEnter the administrator username and password or an account name with administrative rights and click next
bulletCheck the box to open the advanced properties and click finish
bulletIn the following screen, add a space and the word "autodiag" with the quotation marks to the end of the executable path and click "Apply"
bulletYou will be prompted to verify the password.  Click OK and OK again to close the window
You are ready for Automatic Diagnostics to run daily.  Note: Most tasks do not run when the user/administrator is logged off.  For security, use the Windows+L keys on your keyboard to lock the server rather than the log off option. If AutoDiag does not run, there could be a problem with the password in the task scheduler. Reset the password.
