To run Colorado Backup From Grid Menu:

Go to an empty box on Grid Menu and press "F3" to store commands:

Options:     Backup        Wait Message:   N

DOS Commands:   CD\Tape

                Tape Backup C:\*.*/S/J/K

                Pause

                CD\

To Compare after Each Backup:

DOS Commands:   CD\Tape

                Tape Backup C:\*.* /S/J/K/C

                Pause

                CD\

In some cases, 486 memory caching conflicts with tape process:

Switches Y and W will turn off caching and then

turn it back on after backup is done.

DOD Commands:  CD\Tape

               Tape Backup C:\*.* /S/J/K/Y/W/C

               Pause

               CD\

Some office want to perform an Overwrite backup - that is a single backup per

tape rather than having it store multiple volumes and then having to erase the

tape periodically.

To switch the mode from Multivolume to Overwrite on the grid under Dos

commands. Path is required to include Tape directory and should read:

Tape Backup C:\*.* /S/J/K/Y/W/-A/C

PAUSE

This is recommended only if a single backup is requiring more than one tape.

If backup is performed while program files are open across a network,

the message "Access Denied - No Data" will appear next to those filenames

during Restore.

Support Team:  Reinforce that it is critical for all workstations to completely

exit our software prior to daily backup.

Example:  One station is sitting on patient screen during backup.

Files affected:  Eyecare.exe       access denied - no data

                           Acntlock.dbf                "

                           Help.dbf                    "

                           Patient.dbf                 "

                           Patient.cdx                 "

                           Bill.dbf                    "

                           Bill.cdx                    "
