Problem (HW115): Maximum number of connections exceeded or Connection table full Cause: Compulink Advantage Software needs three connection per user to function. Once the Advantage DataBase Server Software is installed, the number of connections are monitored and any number over the original number of licenses purchased are rejected.
Solution: Increase the number of connections. on the server, go to Start - Programs - Advantage database server - ADS configuration utility. Under the Configuration Utility tab, make sure the number of connections is three times the number of licenses purchased. If the client has purchased a 25 user license, the number of connections must reflect 75. Once you have changed the number, press the apply button. A message will be displayed to restart the service. Press exit and either restart the service or restart the server. NOTE: The ADS service must be restarted in order for this changes to take place.
