Checking Dymo Printer properties:
For Windows 9X there are 3 Tabs to remember Details / Paper / Device Options: Details Tab: Check make sure the printer is connected through either Serial Port (ComPort) or USB. Make sure the driver matches the model of the printer (e.g. Dymo LabelWriter 330 Turbo). Paper Tab: Label code should match the label inside the printer. (e.g. Address labels = 30252) Device Options Tab: Leave print density as Normal, which is the default setting. For print quality change it from text only to barcodes and graphics.
For Windows 2000 / XP there are 2 tabs to remember Ports and Advanced: Ports tab: Verify that the printer is connected through either Com port: Serial port or USB local port. Advanced Tab: Verify that the driver matches the model of the printer. Click on the Printing Defaults this window comes up with a couple of tabs Label Setup / Advanced. For Paper type this should match the type of label in the printer, darkness = normal and quality = barcodes and graphics.
