INSTALLING WORD MERGE in TERMINAL SERVICES.

Log on as Administrator.

Find Entire Path for winword.exe

Search for the file: winword.exe

Write down ENTIRE path to that file

Example: C:\program files\microsoft office\office

(your path may differ slightly depending on your version)

In System variables, Add entire path of winword.exe (;C:\prog…\…office) to the END of PATH variable

Right click on My Computer and choose Properties (or windows+Pause/Break)

Select Advanced, then Environment Variables

In the System variables window, find and select the variable: Path

Choose Edit.

At the END of the existing line, ADD a semi colon followed by the entire path for winword.exe

{ ;C:\program files\microsoft office\office (or the version you wrote down) }

Add the Compulink's normal.dot to each user's templates profile.

Make sure all users have the proper normal.dot file.
