How to Disable Dell's Background Image for Terminal Servers Problem: Dell Servers by default have a color 24 bit image that is displayed every time a user connects to the session on the server. This image can increase the login time for the users and delay the launch of the application. Solution: Navigate to: HKEY_Users\.Default\Control Panel\Desktop and delete the value of the Wallpaper key. Windows session will display the standard gray background after the change.
